Learning how to control your time more effectively.

It is possible to achieve much more in your life (work or personal) if you choose to control your time more effectively. Once you have made this choice, you can plan and organize your life to ensure that all your important work is completed at your chosen time to the standard of quality you desire. You can begin to do things in the right way and at the right time.

Learning to control your time may:

  • Help build your confidence and peace of mind.
  • Help reduce stress and anxiety related to the increasing demands of everyday life.
  • Allow you to create balance in your life.

For most people, work has become more demanding with increasing pressure to accomplish more in less time. Lack of time to complete projects leads to immense stress as you may struggle to stay on top of things by working longer hours, working on evenings and weekends. You have more information to manage to the extent of information overload. This work stress induces stress at home and in your interpersonal relationships. In addition, the anxiety that results from not pursuing things you want, may lead to some forms of depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, to name a few.
